Coding & Software
From Scratch and Python to building real websites and apps — children learn to create with code, not just consume it.
VidyaSetu Foundation connects volunteer tech mentors with children in under-resourced communities — teaching coding, AI and digital skills that keep them equipped, inspired and ready for tomorrow’s world.
Our volunteer mentors introduce children to the technologies shaping the world — hands-on, project-based and always free.
From Scratch and Python to building real websites and apps — children learn to create with code, not just consume it.
Friendly, age-appropriate introductions to artificial intelligence, robotics and data — demystifying the tech behind the headlines.
Online safety, productivity tools and guided career conversations that show children where tech skills can take them.
“Vidya Setu” means a bridge of knowledge. As the world races toward AI and automation, children without access to technology risk being left behind. We bridge that gap — by pairing them with volunteers who work in tech.
You don’t need to be a teacher — just a few hours a month and a willingness to share what you know.
Fill in a short form telling us your skills and availability. Students and working professionals are all welcome.
We pair you with a learning hub and a small group of children, and give you a ready-made curriculum and onboarding.
Run weekly sessions — online or in person — guiding children through projects and opening their eyes to what’s possible.
I had never touched a computer before. My VidyaSetu mentor taught me to build my first website — now I want to be a software engineer and design apps that help my village.
Working alongside
A few hours a month is all it takes to give a child the technology skills — and the inspiration — to build a brighter life. Or support the mission with a gift.
